The 2025 Nissan Kicks and the 2025 Nissan Rogue are two of the most popular daily drivers at our Nissan dealership. If you don’t know which to choose, this guide can help you make up your mind.

Class and Size

The 2025 Kicks is a subcompact SUV with bold looks and city-friendly dimensions. With an exterior length of 171.9 inches and a width of 70.9 inches, it fits easily in tight parking spots and is easy to maneuver across narrow roads. The 2025 Rogue is a midsize crossover with an exterior length of 183 inches and a width of 72.4 inches. Both models have seats for five.

Powertrain

Designed for the city, the Kicks has an efficient powertrain under the hood that produces 141 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is optional across the lineup.

A better choice for adventures, the Rogue gets power from a 1.5L turbo engine that makes 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque. Like the Kicks, it comes in standard front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is available. This model’s engine boasts fuel economy ratings of 33 MPG combined, and it delivers plenty of power for a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds.

Comfort

Both models have similar comfort features, including manual adjustments for the driver’s seat and a 60/40 split-folding second-row bench. Cloth seating surfaces are standard on both models, while other premium materials are available or standard on the upper trims.

The main difference is the interior volume. A perfect choice for commuters and new drivers, the Kicks offers 42.7 inches of legroom at the front and 34.5 inches in the second row. With 41.5 inches of legroom in the front row and 38.5 inches in the second row, the Rogue is a better choice for families.

Cargo Capacity

The Rogue also has the upper hand in terms of cargo capacity. Behind the rear seats, this model provides a cargo volume of 36.5 cubic feet. That’s plenty of room for daily items, gym bags, or luggage. The Kicks has a rear cargo volume of 30 cubic feet.

Technology

Nissan equips the Kicks with an intuitive 7-inch infotainment system with Bluetooth phone control and audio streaming, while the model’s two upper trims have an upgraded NissanConnect infotainment system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and smartphone integration features.

The NissanConnect system is standard on the Rogue and comes with an 8-inch touchscreen on the two entry models or a 12.3-inch display on the upper trims. Smartphone integration with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is standard on this model.
